Engineering school
Our Engineering course is designed to introduce students to what the study of engineering at University is actually like.
Engineering is amongst the most misunderstood subjects offered at University level, yet is relevant to a massive range of businesses and industries: creating an ice-cream, building an iconic building, designing a super yacht, making movies, all of these require one of the many branches of engineering.
PREVIOUS AREAS OF STUDY INCLUDE:
Material Engineering: Learn about matter (the forefront of nano science and nanotechnology) as well as the role of material engineering in climate change efforts.
Stress Analysis and Structural Stability: Learn how stress is incorporated into designs for bridges, dams, aircraft and rocket bodies and what happens when stability analysis is ignored.
Thermodynamics and Energy Engineering: Investigate the laws of thermodynamics by applying them to case studies with particular focus on renewable energy sources and applications.
