Our Mathematics Course is designed to give students an introduction to undergraduate level Mathematics, in addition to extending the existing Mathematical knowledge of the students, the course demonstrates the interdisciplinary nature of Math through a series of engaging topics.
Core topics explored within the program include; Calculus, Analysis, Integration, Statistics, Mathematical Finance, and the Philosophy of Mathematics. Students leave with a new found confidence in approaching challenging material, something that will prove invaluable at University.
PREVIOUS AREAS OF STUDY INCLUDE:
Constructive Mathematics: Explore the challenges that iterative methods pose for mathematicians in real life examples and explore the possible solutions through mathematical analysis.
Probability: Understand the complexities of conditional probability and discuss what it really means to say that two events occur independently.
Integration: Take integration to a higher level, such as integration by parts and by substitution, and apply numerical integration to real world examples.
