Our Medicine course is designed to introduce students to University-style learning and career options for medical students.
It will cover some of the main topics that you would encounter during a Medicine undergraduate degree course such as; anatomy and physiology, neuroscience and neuropsychology, emergency medicine, and even cutting edge research in experimental medicine.
As well as developing their medical knowledge, students also participate in workshops designed to prepare them for the BMAT and UKCAT aptitude tests. Beyond this, they also receive interview preparation and advice ensuring they are well prepared for both the admissions process and University study.
PREVIOUS AREAS OF STUDY INCLUDE:
Functional Genomics & Epigenetics: Students will explore recent progress in our understanding of heritability, gene function and variability, as well as extracting and isolating their own DNA.
Anatomy & Physiology: Learn the processes of blood oxygen and transportation and consider current emerging therapies to fight cardiovascular and respiratory diseases.
